Werder Bremen beat VfL Wolfsburg 2-1 in the Bundesliga. Nevertheless, Mitchell Weiser must be annoyed. Because he will miss his club in the next game.
Mitchell Weiser let himself be provoked on Saturday, then pushed VfL Wolfsburg’s Yannick Gerhardt and consequently saw his fifth yellow card from referee Daniel Siebert. This means that right-back Werder Bremen will not be available in Stuttgart on Sunday (3.30 p.m.).
Werner is also annoyed
“It annoys me extremely. I let my emotions guide me. I had it in the back of my mind and then it happened anyway. It hurts. Unfortunately, I have a two-week break now,” said Weiser Bild newspaper quoted. His trainer Ole Werner explained: “If Mitch is angry, I have every reason to be. But I have several alternatives in mind…” It remains to be seen how Bremen will fare without Weiser.
