With a lethal uppercut, American Jesse “Bam” Rodríguez retained the WBC super flyweight title by knocking out Mexican Pedro Guevara in the third round at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Guevara, 35, is the second Mexican to fall to Bam Rodríguez this year, after Juan Francisco Gallo Estrada was also defeated in July.
