Baltika Kaliningrad striker Tamerlan Musaev was included in the list of 49 players whom the head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin invited to the training camp of the national team. This was reported in the press service Russian Football Union.
The players will train in Novogorsk near Moscow from 4 to 12 September. The friendly matches of the national team will be announced later.
The mentor of the Baltics, Sergei Ignashevich, congratulated Musaev on being included in the list of the best players in the country.
“He deserves the attention of the coaching staff of the national team. A young, promising football player, and I think it was the right decision to call him, to see. At this training camp, we have already talked about this, first of all we will look at his attitude to the matter and his mental preparation – whether he is ready to compete with the best football players in the country. If he is not too modest, but immediately proves his worth at this level, then, of course, he will continue to be called. But, of course, the first challenge is an advance,” Ignashevich believes.
