The musical project BALTIC TRANSIT is a creative collaboration between flautist Ilona Kudina living in America and outstanding Latvian jazz artists – pianist Viktor Ritova, drummer Arti Oruba and bassist Andri Grunti. BALTIC TRANSIT is an instrumental music project whose original compositions and New Standards (the authors of New Standards are professional jazz composers) intertwine the diversity of ideas, Ilona’s flute and melodic sounds, humor, skepticism, passion and motifs of Latvian folk songs.
