In order to find answers to how to maintain the resilience of previous years and more successfully overcome the current challenges of the industry, the annual international conference “Baltic Retail Forum” of retail technology solutions provider “StrongPoint” will take place on May 17 in the “APOLLO KINO” cinema.
“Baltic Retail Forum” will take place on May 17 from 9.00 a.m. in the “Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc” cinema hall of the “APOLLO KINO” cinema of the “AKROPOLE Rīga” shopping center (Maskavas iela 257, Rīga). Pre-registration is required to attend the conference “StrongPoint” homepageā.
One of the biggest challenges this year, which worries not only consumers, but also retailers, is the economic turbulence and its consequences – economic growth in the Baltic region has decreased, inflation is still high, while interest rates continue to rise. Therefore, in his presentation, the economist of “Citadele” bank, Mārtiņš Āboliņš, will report on the current affairs of the world and the Baltic region, how these trends and recent banking problems will affect the Latvian economy and the trade sector, trying to find an answer to the question – is a new wave of crisis expected or is the worst already behind us? ?
The conference will also seek answers to other important questions for the retail industry – what to pay attention to when thinking about consumer behavior trends, how to become a leader in the constantly changing industry and use the latest technologies to your advantage, and where is the key to success so that the introduction of innovations meets the company’s expectations? Also, at the conference, experts from the Baltics, Denmark, Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom will share the industry’s main observations not only during economic turbulence, but also the need for new innovations and automation solutions in the retail industry to improve both the organization of work in warehouses and the shopping experience.
