Baltic Music in Support of Ukraine will broadcast a concert from the Grand Guild / Day

The Baltic orchestras and choirs will take part in the concert in person and in a video created especially for this event.

State Academic Choir Latvia and the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Andris Poga will perform the Ukrainian anthem and the prayer of Peter Vasks Give us peace (Dod mums mieru).

Colleagues from other concert halls in the Baltic States will take part in the concert with video recordings. The Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Thomas Zanderling, will play Arvo Pert A song in memory of Benjamin Britten. Kaunas State Choir and Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gintars Rinkēvičs will play one part of Bronis Kutāvičs Symphony-Oratorio An epitaph of the past.

Latvian Radio Choir, Sinfonietta Riga and organist Ilze Reine, led by Sigvards Kļava, will give arturation to Arthur Muscat Lacrimosa. In addition to the works of Baltic composers, the Ukrainian composer Miroslav Skorika will also perform Melody Reading by Liepaja Symphony Orchestra and conductor Normunds Šnē.
