Fatih, the student’s father named Sultan Rif’at Alfatihspecifying parties Bali Towerindo came to her after the dangling cable incident that entangled her son. Fatih said Bali Tower gave Rp 2 billion in compensation, but he refused.
Fatih said Bali Tower met him on Friday (28/7/2023) last week. The Rp. 2 billion was rejected because the company was deemed to have no good intentions when it met with the family some time ago.
“Now gini, our child is still sick. His condition was like this, suddenly he came in a hurry and then he gave me Rp. 2 billion to finish this,” Fatih told reporters, Wednesday (2/8).
Fatih admitted that he was offended by the company’s way of directly discussing the issue of compensation money. Because, according to him, the focus is currently on healing the Sultan.
“What is my child like, only after that what is my child’s condition like and how is it, new say the numbers. So do not persuaded like this inconsequential That. There is no ethics,” said Fatih.
“Yes, now our child is still sick, he immediately say Money aja to me as if this money solved everything. Nope. We want our children to be healthy back to normal, the point is right there,” he added.
Separately, the family’s attorney, Tegar Putuhena, said that his party was suing the parties Bali Towerindo make a public apology for the aftermath of the case.
“Admit that it was the fault of Bali Tower openly. Second, he publicly apologized so that there will be no other Sultans. Because there are many motorcyclists in Jakarta, it will happen again,” he said.
“If we talk about medical expenses, compensation and so on, that’s okay, but come in a good way, solve the most basic problems first,” he added.
