Fashion house Balenciaga will release its first video game on December 6. It will be an ‘allegorical adventure’ starring the 2021 autumn collection.

Balenciaga is building a real new game for its fall collection Afterworld: the age of tomorrow. Creative director Demna Gvasalia’s collection is said to be partly inspired by the question of what fashion could look like in 2030. He therefore opts for a story that takes place in 2031.
You play the game by navigating your avatar clad in Balenciaga gear through a virtual world. You will see the collection along the way. Those who finish the game receive a ‘breathing exercise in a virtual utopia’, according to the fashion brand.
The fashion world has already shown a lot of creativity this year to make up for the lack of runway shows. Gucci made a mini-series with Harry Styles and Burberry streamed his collection on the gaming site Twitch.
