Baldur’s Gate III on Xbox: Split-Screen Issues and the Future Possibility

One of the reasons why Larian didn’t talk about releasing Baldur’s Gate III on Xbox consoles for a long time is because of the Series S. The platform couldn’t handle split screen. And Microsoft’s policy is that games for both Xbox models should be the same.

However, adventure will be the exception. Sven Vincke and Phil Spencer agreed, and the release on the Xbox will take place this year. But on the younger console there will be no mentioned split-screen.

This does not mean that it was completely abandoned. Xbox account on social network X (Twitter) informedthat the company and Larian are “looking into the matter.” And in the future, the split screen option may appear.

Recall, Baldur’s Gate 3 has collected a lot of positive reviews. Just the other day, she received her first mixed rating. Recently, the creators of the adventure shared some interesting statistics and discussed future content.
