Baldur’s Gate 3 will have its official launch in the summer

Larian Studios has finally revealed when Baldur’s Gate 3 will have its final launch. The game will be exiting Early Access in August 2023, the developer confirmed during last night’s The Game Awards show.

In addition to the announcement, Larian has also released a new trailer for the experience. The video, which you can watch above, shows glimpses of several cutscenes from the game.

Of course, the Early Access period isn’t over yet. The Patch 9 update is expected to be released in the coming months. This, according to the plan, will launch a new playable class.

Further details on patch 9 and the full release of Baldur’s Gate 3 will be revealed on December 14, in a new edition of the Larian show Panel from Hell.

We tested the Early Access version in October 2020 and writer Alexei Smirnov came out with a positive first impression.

– Early impressions suggest that the final release of Baldur’s Gate 3 will succeed in bringing an epic and timely Dungeons & Dragons campaign to the digital world like Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 did in their time. And that is, strictly speaking, the most important thing to Larian Studios and the people behind Dungeons & Dragons.
