Probably no one is surprised by the fact that Baldur’s Gate 3 has been the center of attention of players and the media for some time now. In short, a successful game deserves attention. However, the success she got on The Golden Joystick Awards apparently few expected. The game failed in only one category. As a result, Swen Vincke took home a total of five gold statuettes, so he was glad that he was able to take home the reward for his work at all. This title won the award in the categories Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, Best Game Community, PC Game of the Year and Ultimate Game of the Year.
Baldur’s Gate 3 became one of two projects that managed to win more than one award. The next one this year was Final Fantasy 16. For Larian Studios, this is a huge success. Let’s hope that they will be similarly successful in the coming years.
