Baldur’s Gate 3 has gotten off to a flying start. Since the launch of the game’s full version on August 2nd, players have flocked in droves, with hundreds of thousands of players logged in at any given time.
Its popularity is growing by the day, with a current peak of 814,466 concurrent players, according to Steam Charts. That’s enough for eighth place for the most concurrent players ever on Steam, notched behind Cyberpunk 2077 with its 830,387.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has also snuck past Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Steam’s bestseller list. The 2012 shooter has held the top spot for a long, long time and is free, after all.
