Baldur’s Gate 3 Developers Release Patch to Fix Critical Bug and Improve Performance

The developers of Baldur’s Gate 3 continue to gradually fix the game. Larian Studios has prepared another patch

Recently released for Baldur’s Gate 3 hotfix #24. This is another small update aimed at fixing various bugs, as well as improving the performance of the Mac version of the game.

This time, Larian Studios has fixed a critical bug that caused Baldur’s Gate 3 to crash after playing a cutscene during the transition from Act 2 to Act 3.

Also fixed was a bug due to which it was not possible to use a short rest if the player had previously added We to the squad, and then removed the companion from the group and loaded a certain save.

We should no longer appear at camps or waypoints when there is no point in doing so.

We noted that for the Mac version of Baldur’s Gate 3, a bug made in hotfix No. 21 was corrected: then it led to a decrease in performance, but now the game will work better. On other platforms (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S) performance will remain the same.

The developers of Baldur’s Gate 3 will continue to release patches, as well as small hotfixes. It is not yet known when the next update will be presented.
