Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently available on PC and is coming to PS5 soon. However, these are not the only platforms on which this piece is going. According to the latest tweet According to Swen Vincke, it looks like the game will finally be available to Xbox players after a series of difficult moments. Together with Phil Spencer, he managed to find a way to bring one of the best RPGs of this decade to another device, or so he claims. However, it is already clear that there will be differences between Series X and S. The S version is not supposed to get split-screen cooperation, but it will not lack the cross-save function across PC and Xbox.
Overall, it feels like the Xbox Series S was the main problem. Baldur’s Gate 3 is scheduled to arrive on Xbox Series X/S later this year. We don’t know the exact release date yet.
All improvements will be there, with split-screen coop on Series X. Series S will not feature split-screen coop, but will also include cross-save progression between Steam and Xbox Series.
