A couple from Perth prepare to celebrate Christmas in style after winning the lottery on Wednesday.
The Baldivis couple’s ticket from The Lucky Charm in Rockingham matched Wednesday’s draw numbers and is now worth $ 1 million.

The WA winner was one of three from across the country.
The couple said they would have to double-check their ticket before the reality of the win sank.
“I was looking up the numbers online, when I got to the third row I was like, ‘what the heck?'” Said the winner.
They said they wanted to pay off their mortgage and help the extended family.
“This victory will help many families and Christmas will be different now, but in a good way.”
The good news follows Saturday’s Halloween Superdraw that saw Coolbellup Newsagency sell a $ 2 million ticket.
Owner Martin Dawkins, who has worked for the family business for 37 years, said he was confident the winner would be a regular.
“This is our sixth prize in the first division, but the last we had was in 2012 – we had a bit of drought,” said Dawkins.
“I told all customers that it was going to happen, and it did.
“We are very confident that it will be regular.”
Lotterywest spokeswoman Hermione Coleman said Wednesday’s win now meant WA had produced 64 Division 1 winners in 2020
“We hope to see another millionaire after today’s $ 20 million Powerball draw,” said Ms. Coleman.
Tickets for today’s Powerball drawing, valued at $ 20 million, are available until 6 p.m. in the Lotterywest store, online or via the app.
