Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (“BNBR”) and Envision Group (“Envision”) have signed Responsible for the agreement (HoA) to continue the two companies’ plans to build cooperation in the industry industrial area ecological.
The signing was done by BNBR President, Director and CEO, Anindya N. Bakrie and Envision Founder and CEO Lei Zhang, in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia on the sidelines of the Summit event series
G20, Sunday (13/11/2022).
The two sides are exploring the prospects for the development of Net Zero industrial technology and the potential to build Indonesia’s first Net Zero industrial park, which will be located in the Central Sulawesi region.
Anin said the deal allows the two companies to jointly explore the development of renewable energy projects, including those using wind, solar, green ammonia and green hydrogen.
“We see the possibility of developing a Net Zero digital solution in Indonesia, fully utilizing the system created by Envision Digital,” Anin said in a written statement on Sunday (11/13/2022).
As is known, through its pilot subsidiary VKTR, BNBR is working to build integrated electrification of transportation as well as an ecosystem of EV batteries in Indonesia. The network will consist of batteries for EV, EV-Bus, EV-Car, EV-Motocycle, EV-Infrastructure and battery recycling.
BNBR also plans to build a complete upstream-downstream battery supply chain capability, which will be accomplished while continuing to implement the stringent ESG protocol.
“Together with Envision and other partners in the future, we hope to improve the security of supply of units of nickel and other raw materials, continue to expand nickel sulfate conversion capacity, produce batteries independently, and eventually be able to also produce pCAM and CAM independently in Indonesia.” he said.
Meanwhile, the Envision Group is known in the industrial world as the world’s leading green technology company and Net Zero technology provider. The company, which has offices in North America, Europe and Asia, especially China, is constantly touting wind and solar as the new coal, batteries and hydrogen as the “new oil,” and AIoT as the new grid.
Envision also defined the Net Zero Industrial Park as a new infrastructure and the Net Zero technology ecosystem as a new industry, which will ultimately be able to help create a Net Zero World or a world without emissions.
