“We have a sufficient amount of vaccines, it is not Pfizer, it is not Moderna, it is Abdala, we have it available for the vulnerable population,” explained Medina Amarillas.

He indicated that the objective is to apply the rest of the doses to people over 60 years of age and with some comorbidity, before the batch expires next May 2024; If there are leftover vaccines, they could be applied to the rest of the population.

“If time passes and it continues to be available, we will open (vaccination) but right now the ideal is vulnerable people,” he noted.
