Radio voice and event manager Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare, receiving a question from the portal 1188.lv regarding weight changes and the fate of Elita Patmalniece’s special outfits, reflected on why she does not like to discuss this topic.
“In principle, I have never announced anywhere that I have lost a lot of weight. It’s a topic I never discuss in public because I believe it’s personal hygiene. I take a shower in the morning and don’t discuss it with anyone [to].”
The information in the conversation with Sipenieci-Gavari published in the 40th issue of 2023 of the magazine “Privatā Dzīve” indicates something else. The main reason for the change in weight was said to be the recent project, due to which she covered a distance of 120 kilometers on foot in the mountains of Sweden in very harsh conditions. The feelings did not leave the body after the experience: “It seemed that I was taken to Siberia and left there. No way! It’s not for me. Only now I realized how I survived all this thanks to the people around me.”
Even though the public is amazed by the changes in the radio personality’s visual image even today, Sipeniece-Gavare told “Private Life” that “everything can come back”.
