Baghdad people, Irak, was horrified by the showing of pornographic films on LED advertising screens. Authorities have now closed the LED screen after hacking by a hacker.
“Someone managed to hack into the advertising screens in Uqba bin Nafia Square,” a main intersection in the center of the Iraqi capital, a security source told Reuters on condition of anonymity. AFPMonday (21/8/2023).
The hackers “showed us porn for a few minutes before we cut the power cord,” he said.
The pornographic video that was played is now viral on social media. This “immoral scene” prompted the authorities to “turn off all advertising screens in Baghdad,” the security official explained.
The Interior Ministry announced in a statement that a suspect had been arrested. However, they did not provide further details on the arrest.
LED advertising screens that usually display advertisements for household goods or political candidates before the election were turned off on Sunday (20/8) morning.
