Rapper Martin Pohl alias Řezník won the hip hop & rap award at the Czech Nightingale. In his speech, however, he did not forgive himself for criticizing the level of the Czech music scene, which was displeased, for example, by singer Monika Bagárová. Now she received an answer.
At the gala dinner, for example, the butcher stated that Czech pop music has been at a complete bottom for years and does not copy foreign trends at all. According to him, it makes him physically ill, and skillful progressive artists do not get any space at all.
His words touched Monika Bagárová, who did not keep up and described Butcher as a rotten and moldy person during her speech. But it doesn’t matter. He even said he didn’t even know who Bagar was!
“I’m not mad at Monika Bagárová, I really don’t even know who she is,” he shot down the singer. “Actually, it amused me a lot and I also enjoy the hateful comments from the disgusted listeners of Czech pop music – I wish you well!” he added on instagram.
“I have hundreds of congratulations and a compliment on my ‘thank you’ speech – I was honored to present the views of a large group of people who feel the same way.
