Interviewer: Hello and welcome to our live interview with Antoine Colmard, President and player of Guérigny-Urzy, and Sébastien Babielle, President-Captain of Nevers. We’re discussing their recent victories in the Regional 1 and Regional 2 championships, respectively. Antoine, we’ll start with you. Could you tell us about your team’s strategy during these crucial games and how you were able to secure two wins against Stade Auxerre and BC Dijon?
Antoine: Well, first of all, I would like to thank our coaches, Jean-Philippe Monnier and Pierre Gatellier, as well as all the players. They put in an immense amount of work and dedication to ensure we were ready for these games. We stuck to our game plan and focused on maintaining a strong defense while capitalizing on opportunities to score. We also benefited from a great team spirit that helped us stay positive even during difficult moments.
Interviewer: That’s great to hear. Sébastien, how about yourself? How did your team handle the challenge of playing in Regional 2 and what were some of the key strategies that helped you secure a victory against Noyers-Ancy-le-Franc?
Sébastien: Thank you for having me here. We knew that these games would be tough, especially considering the level of play in Regional 2. Our strategy was to remain disciplined and play as a team. We focused on our serves and attempted to disrupt our opponent’s rhythm through defense. It was also important for us to be patient and wait for our opportunities to score. The victory was partly due to having a full squad available, which allowed us to adapt our players to the specific challenges of each match.
Interviewer: That’s an interesting point, Sébastien. Both of you mentioned team spirit as a significant factor in your success. Could you expand on that and tell us more about how you foster a positive team culture?
Antoine: For us, team spirit is everything. We’re like a family on and off the court. We spend a lot of time together, not just at practices but also during meals and social events. We support each other both emotionally and physically, which has been crucial in
