Indonesia will face Thailand in the last match of Group C Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2023. This match will determine who wins the group.
Indonesia was perfect in the first three matches of Group C. The Red and White Troops wiped out their respective wins over Lebanon, Syria and Bahrain.
Thailand also did the same. However, Thailand has the right to be at the top of Group C thanks to a better point difference than Indonesia.
The two strongest teams in Group C will then face off in the final game. Indonesia will face Thailand on Thursday (16/2/2023) at the Dubai Exhibition Center.
Indonesia itself has set a target to win the group. Victory over Thailand was targeted.
“From the start, we did set a target to win the group. That’s why we had to win the final match against Thailand,” said PBSI’s Head of Achievement Development Division, Rionny Mainaky, in a written statement on Wednesday (15/2/2023).
