Walldorf’s Big Bakery is on fire

Walldorf (dpa / lsw) – A large bakery caught fire in an industrial area in Walldorf (Rhein-Neckar district) on Sunday. The cause has not yet been determined, a spokesman for the Mannheim police headquarters told the German Press Agency. No one was injured in the building fire.
In the evening, the extinguishing works were still in progress, the police and firefighters were present on the spot. They’re taking on damages in the millions. “No more sandwiches will be baked there in the coming weeks,” police said.
