Bad weather in Val di Cornia, roads closed

The Province of Livorno has released an update on road conditions

CORNIA VALLEY — The persistence of bad weather conditions in the areas of Val di Cornia, already affected by yesterday’s storm, did not allow the reopening of the provincial roads closed due to traffic safety problems.

The Province of Livorno makes this known.

In addition to the SP 20 San Vincenzo-Campiglia and the provincial road 21 Cafaggio-Riotorto, the provincial road 23ter of Caldanelle was also closed to transit, in the stretch between km 0 and km
1+500, due to landslides and the presence of gravel and mud on the road surface.

The roads will remain closed until safety conditions are restored.
