(ANSA) – MILAN, MARCH 31 – A night of bad weather is also expected in Milan, with gusts of wind that could reach 90 km/h. After the bulletin issued by the functional natural risk monitoring center of the Lombardy Region, the local crisis unit of the Municipality of Milan met, chaired by the councilors for Security, Marco Granelli, and for the Environment and Green, Elena Grandi. An orange (moderate) alert is expected throughout the night for hydrogeological risk and a yellow (ordinary) level alert for strong winds and thunderstorms. In particular, as stated in a note from Palazzo Marino, “as regards the area of the hydraulic hub of Milan, the gusts of wind could reach speeds between 70 km/h and 90 km/h”. The Municipality recommends “not to stop under the trees in parks and tree-lined avenues and near construction site scaffolding, dehors and tents” and invites “to ensure the safety of objects and vases on balconies and of all artefacts that may be moved by the wind.” (HANDLE).
