According to Adele, her weight loss was driven by the fears she had. The Grammy winner recently went through a divorce and went through a difficult period. “Exercise made me feel better. It was never really about weight loss, but more about becoming a strong, healthy person and giving myself as much time each day as possible without a cell phone.”
She also admits that sports became something of an addiction for her: “Sometimes I exercised two or three times a day, but I needed to get addicted to something to get my mind in order. That could also be knitting, but that’s just not for me.”
