VIVA – Trainer AC Milan, Stefano Pioli gave an announcement regarding the squad that will return to fight in the next A league, Monday morning WIB, December 7, 2020
This announcement is bad news for supporters of Milan, aka Milanisti. The mainstay bomber, Zlatan Ibrahimovic cannot be played yet.
The veteran Swedish striker has not recovered from the injury suffered when Milan beat Napoli 3-1 in the eighth week of Serie A, 23 November 2020 yesterday.

Stefano Pioli said, Ibra will be rested again when Milan travel to Sampdoria headquarters. He wanted to give Ibra more rest so that his condition was fully recovered.
Pioli does not want to gamble with Ibra’s condition. It is better to allow him to recover than to force and potentially increase the possibility of injury for the player.
“Ibrahimovic? We have to be careful. He is an important player, even when he is not playing. His teammates are exploiting his presence well,” Pioli was quoted as saying Corriere dello Sport.

“I don’t think he can come back in the match on Monday. You have to be careful with muscle problems, it’s better to lose a match than to lose anything else,” he continued.
That way, Ibra will miss AC Milan’s three consecutive matches. Previously he did not play when Milan beat Fiorentina 2-0 in Week nine of Serie A.
The most recent was when Milan overthrew Celtic 4-2 in the Europa League group phase, on Friday morning 4 December 2020.
Since returning to Milan in January, Ibra has scored 20 goals in 24 appearances in the Italian Serie A.
This season, Ibra scored nine goals in eight matches. Only 2 Milan players have scored more goals than Ibra in that period namely (Van Basten 12 in 1992/93 and Nordahl 10 in 1950/51)
