Manchester United will have a decisive match against AC Milan of Europa League. However, MU is not supported by a convincing record. Can MU escape?
MU only drew 1-1 at home to Milan at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff, in the first leg of the last 16. In that match, the Red Devils winning first thanks to a goal by Amad Diallo at the start of the second half. However, Milan managed to break the hearts of the home team with Simon Kjaer’s goal at the end of the match.
This result is still open to chance of escape Manchester United to the quarterfinals. Condition, MU must beat Rossoneri at the San Siro tonight (18/3/2021), or a draw with a bigger score than the previous match.
However, a draw in the first leg bodes badly for the Red Devils. In a note Opta, United have been eliminated six of the last eight duels in European competition when they failed to win the first leg at home.
