This was confirmed on Twitter by the general manager of the national team, Miroslav Šatan. However, New Jersey Devils leader Marián Studenič should join the team soon.

Coach Craig Ramsay’s team can count on three players from overseas at the championship. In addition to Studenič, also with goalkeeper Adam Húsk (Hartford Wolf Pack / AHL) and forward Róbert Lantoš (Providence Bruins / AHL), who should arrive at the preparatory camp within a week.

Twenty-two-year-old Marián Studenič started the season in Slovan Bratislava, headed overseas in January, where he first played 22 AHL farm games for the Binghamton Devils and then premiered in the NHL in New Jersey Devils. In eight profilig starts, he scored two points for goal and assistance.
