Those immunized against COVID-19 with Sputnik V may need revaccination with another drug after some time, research in this area is still ongoing, said Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Oleg Gridnev, writes Trud bg.
“It’s good that we have other vaccines (besides Sputnik V) that are increasing their production and, as our esteemed scientists predict, in a year’s time a revaccination with a different vaccine may be needed.
“It will most likely be Kovivak or Epivakkorona, but research is still ongoing,” he said during a plenary session in the State Duma.
Gridnev added that Sputnik V’s industrial production is much higher.
