She explains to what extent these images represent the corona pandemic for her. – The Kurpark with a view of the arcade building – in the middle of the day and deserted. For a project, she was walking through the city for the first time with open eyes. She photographed buildings that she found particularly impressive. The 23-year-old is studying communication design in Würzburg in the second semester, where she also attends photography courses in addition to courses in typography, aesthetics or illustration. For a project in this field, Meaghan quickly realized that she was dedicated to architecture. Because she was in the parental home in Bad Kissingen because of Corona, it should be the buildings in the spa town. The half-Scottish woman photographed all the buildings that she found particularly beautiful or impressive. Because she was busy with the angle, image section and camera shots while taking the photo, Meaghan only noticed in retrospect: “Somewhere there are no people to be seen. I only noticed how empty it really is in the pictures.” Because the recordings were made during the time that people stayed at home because of the exit restrictions. “When photographing such places and buildings, the problem is usually that people walk through the picture all the time,” she says. “It’s really unusual for a spa town. I’ve lived here for so long and there’s always something going on.” In order to express her findings, she colored the pictures in black and white. In order to give the photographs an abstract touch, she processed the sky black on one copy. This illustrates the loneliness in which the buildings stand. The pictures should also depict grief and standstill. The thick cloud cover in the gray sky on the one hand illustrates the cloudy mood, on the other hand it places the buildings in the foreground. In the end, Meaghan didn’t just hand in a photo project, but took something with him: “I’ve lived here for so long and know the city, but only when you take pictures do you realize that there are really beautiful buildings here.” The 23-year-old publishes other artistic works on Instagram at @maartbygunndi. – Bad Kissingen Photographs building Instagram semester typography – – – Related posts:First DFB-Pokal round timed - 1860-BVB on free TVNor'easter to Bring Rain and Snow to Boston This Week40 years of the Rolls-Royce Silver DawnNew York State Police and Governor Hochul Crack Down on Drunk Driving this Holiday SeasonShare this:FacebookX Related FC Barcelona’s plan with Ansu Fati Canada: Quebec flies to the aid of Cirque du Soleil – Monde Leave a Comment Cancel replyCommentName Email Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
