The Spanish Jon Rahm, number one in the world, lost chances of victory at the end of the third round of the BMW Championship, second playoff of the FedEx Cup which has been held since Thursday at the Caves Valley Golf Club, from Baltimore. The Basque finished with 70 strokes (-2), away from the leadership shared by the Americans Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Catlay, who signed cards of 67 (-5) and 66 (-6), respectively.
The other Spaniard in battle, Sergio garcia, closed with 67 hits (-5). Garcia is seventh in the tournament standings with a total of -17 and Rahm it follows with -16 in the eighth position, five positions less than in the previous day.
