A MusicPark arena occupation, where the fight between Popó and Whindersson Nunes tonight, it was increasing in small steps in Balneário Camboriú (SC).
At the beginning of the Fight Music Show fights, around 19:00 (Brasília time), there were many empty chairs. An hour later, however, the space was already full and with few vacant seats – some people remained standing.
The arena is at the entrance to the city of Santa Catarina. The beaches and skyscrapers of Balneário Camboriú, famous nationally, are relatively far from the venue.
Money changers and vaccination requirement
The arrival of the public was made through a not very wide street. Before turning right, the drivers of the cars were approached by scalpers, who offered tickets without disguise.
In the late afternoon, the arena was gradually filling up. White chairs were fixed around three of the four corners of the ring – what was left was reserved for equipment and to allow the crane to move with the camera that broadcasts the fights live.
Those who circulated around the place noticed the absence of the use of masks against covid-19 in part of the public – in the state of Santa Catarina, the use of protection is optional in open spaces.
At the entrance to the arena, by the way, there was a requirement to present the vaccination card against the coronavirus with at least two doses. In addition, alcohol gel tubes were scattered around the place, with a greater presence in the cabins – where part of the press was.
With the fights going on…
For those who followed the chair duels, the orientation was not to stand during the clashes – and the request was strictly followed by the spectators, who began to shout “release the front” to those who did not follow the rules.
The public was elated at several moments of the fights. In the duel between Mario Souza, known as Coração Valente, and the Argentine Antônio Gordilho, the audience even asked for the death of the “hermano”.
Another highlight was the confrontation between Traplaudo and Higor Merlin. A sequence of punches – which indicated that Traplaudo would be knocked out – sent the audience into euphoria.
The pinnacle of public energy, however, was left for the last fights. In the fight between the Olympic medalist Esquiva Falcão against the formerBBB Yuri Fernandes, a sequence of punches from the athlete left the arena boiling. The audience, in fact, was divided between guaranteeing support for Fernandes and praising Esquiva.
