Sani Rizki Fauzi back called to Indonesian National team. The Bhayangkara FC midfielder is determined to prove himself to Shin Tae-yong.
The Indonesian national team held a training camp at the Samudra Stadium, Bali, Thursday (20/1/2022) afternoon WIB. There were 27 players called by Shin Tae-yong to prepare for the match against Timor Leste in the FIFA Matchday test event.
This moment is also a sign of Sani’s return to the Indonesian national team. He last participated in the training camp with the Garuda Squad in July 2020.

The player who once helped Indonesia win the 2019 AFF U-22 Cup and the 2019 SEA Games runner-up is very happy to be back. He wanted to prove himself to Shin Tae-yong.
“Yes, first of all, Alhamdulillah, I’m grateful to be called to the Senior National Team again. I want to prove to coach Shin that he can give the best,” said Sani in a PSSI release.
“Thank God my condition is 100 percent fit. The first target of course is to give the best. Many friends of the U-23 national team yesterday (2019), so I am happy to join the national team again,” added the 24-year-old player.
PSSI decided to hold the Indonesian National Team against Timor Leste twice. The international break or FIFA Matchday takes place on 27 and 30 January.
Both matches will be held at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali. Timor Leste was chosen by PSSI as the trial opponent for the Indonesian national team to replace Bangladesh.
