At approximately 2:30 p.m., the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) received a call regarding a potentially armed individual at Hôpital Montfort.
The establishment was placed in confinement and the ambulances were diverted, while the police searched the premises.
The alert was lifted two hours later. No one was hurt.
