At Palermo Today, in view of the serological tests for teachers and Ata starting from 24 August, the Councilor for Health of the Sicilian Region, Ruggero Razza, intervenes.
“We are respecting the guidelines of the national government regarding the staff of the school world. In Sicily we are preparing 100,000 serological tests, which is an important number, on all personnel. This is an investigation that gives an epidemiological trace but we are worried, instead, about the search for new spaces for schools. Our facilities are often very dated and have not been modernized and therefore in many cases alternative solutions will have to be found, such as staggered entrances and also different timetables between the various classes. So you need to organize quickly in order to be ready: it would be a bad sign if schools were not able to open “
