Back pain with severe outcome

I’m meeting you for an emergency evaluation. She is 82 years old. The woman has had back and leg pain for two years, first mainly from standing and walking, then also from lying down. She has deteriorated rapidly over the past two weeks. She can no longer walk, she is lying in bed and the back pain continues to increase. When I try to have a conversation with her, she quickly falls asleep due to the high dose of morphine.
