Incomplete installation billboard ‘Enjoyable PKI Age’, Jenar Village Head (Kades), Regency Sragen, Central Java, Samto, again sparked controversy. Samto was caught in a rage until he flipped the table when the team Covid-19 task force disbanded a celebration in the village of Jenar.
This incident began when one of the residents of Jenar Village held a wedding celebration, Friday (16/7) afternoon. Because the implementation of this celebration violates the rules Emergency PPKM, the COVID-19 Task Force team also came to the celebration to disperse it.
Kasi Trantib Jenar Subdistrict, Kardiyono, said the celebration invited up to 800 guests. Not only that, the celebration also presents campursari entertainment.
“Of course this violates the rules. Because clearly the rules only allow consent and even then a maximum of 10 people,” explained Kardiyono to detik.com, Friday (16/7/2021).
The Jenar District COVID-19 Task Force Team, Kardiyono continued, arrived at the celebration location at around 10.30 WIB. At that time, the Head of Jenar Village, Samto, was also a guest at the celebration.
“Instead of enforcing the rules, the village head actually allows celebrations and even becomes a guest. And even then he doesn’t wear a mask,” he said.
Kardiyono said the joint team decided to wait for the procession of the bride and groom to finish. After the meeting of the bride and groom, a new officer came in to break up the celebration.
“After entering, I asked for time to convey the socialization. I warned those who had an intention on July 12 not to dare to hold a celebration. Because we were desperate, we told them to disband. We gave the guests 20 minutes to disperse,” he explained. .
But at that moment, he continued, Samto, who was sitting in the front row of the guest chairs, suddenly went into a rage. Samto suddenly stood up and turned the two tables in front of him.
“The glass plates on the table were all shattered. The village head was angry and mumbled, he said the officers were inhumane. Even though we were only enforcing the rules,” said Kardiyono.
Samto was then calmed down by the TNI and Polri officers who were part of the joint team. Meanwhile, the invited guests gradually left the location of the celebration.
“After the billboard incident yesterday, he said (the village head) had apologized. This even allowed the celebration, then attended the celebration without even wearing a mask,” complained Kardiyono.
“Even though the village head is raging, we still enforce the rules. I’m waiting for all the guests to leave, even until the tables and chairs and other celebration equipment are cleaned,” he concluded.
