Monterrey, NL.- In response to one of the main requests of the citizens, which is to improve the avenues, the municipality of Monterrey, through the Secretary of Public Services, repaired about 900 square meters of Ruiz Cortines avenue.
In the early hours of this Wednesday, personnel from the agency implemented an operation to repair the asphalt layer in said artery, from Churubusco to Gonzalitos, in the direction from east to west.
The pothole coordinator for the downtown area, Juan Carlos Alonso, explained the work.
“We are working on our volanta patching operation, which consists of the five operational zones working at the same point. On Ruiz Cortines avenue, the damage caused by the recent rains to the asphalt layer is repaired, ”he mentioned.
“Around 70 people are rehabilitating 900 square meters.”
The General Operations Directorate of the Secretariat implements emerging patching actions in the city, benefiting avenues such as Manuel L. Barragán, Francisco I. Madero, Cristóbal Colón, Fidel Velázquez, Rodrigo Gómez, Alfonso Reyes, Morones Prieto, Gonzalitos and Constitución.
“The nighttime operations are normally a day of the week, in the most difficult area, but all the crews work every day in different parts of the city of Monterrey to cover all the potholes,” the coordinator explained.
He explained that next week the opposite lanes of Ruiz Cortines will be intervening.
