THE CITY OF MADIUN || Aiptu Edi Purwanto, Police of Bhabinkamtibmas Taman, Manisrejo Sub-District, showed great concern for the health of his citizens. Responding to the outbreak of chikungunya in his area, Aiptu Edi immediately moved quickly by providing emergency assistance with the Madiun City Health Service.

“For the health of our residents, we are coordinating with the Health Service to make fog to prevent the spread of mosquitoes that cause chikungunya,” said Aiptu Edi when interviewed at the smoke point, Tuesday (6/8).

In addition to fog, Aiptu Edi is also actively inviting residents to work together to eliminate mosquito nests. He emphasized the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and the performance of 3M (Drain, Cover and Bury) as an effective prevention effort.

“We urge residents to actively clean the environment around their homes. Do not allow standing water to become a breeding ground for mosquitoes. “Let’s work together to prevent the spread of chikungunya,” said Aiptu Edi.

Bhabinkamtibmas gave a message to his residents, “Keep the environment around the house clean, do 3M (drain, cover and bury) to prevent mosquitoes from breeding. “And contact a health worker immediately if you experience symptoms of chikungunya, such as high fever, joint pain and skin rash,” he explained.

“Let us all play an active role in preventing the spread of chikungunya disease.” “Our concern and cooperation is the best way to maintain public health,” Bhabinkamtibmas said hopefully.
