Andon Baltakov’s request will be considered at a meeting on Friday. At it, it will be determined who will perform the position until a new general director of the BNR is elected within three months, Betina Zoteva pointed out:

Earlier today, Andon Baltakov announced that he was resigning from his post. He has applied to the Electronic Media Council to have his management contract terminated early on August 6, citing “deeply personal” reasons.
“Together we have achieved a lot in programmatic, administrative and financial aspects”, says Andon Baltakov.
He expressed hope that the Electronic Media Council would select a leader “who is not tied to political or economic interests and who will continue the work of transformation.”
