The airline AZUR Air (one of the largest charter carriers in Russia) announced the cancellation of all flights on the delivery of Russian vacationers abroad from March 22 to April 20. The company’s message to RBC notes that such a decision was made in confirmation of the “responsible citizenship regarding the health of Russian tourists” and in support of the decision of the airline’s strategic partner, the tour operator ANEX Tour.
The company said that flights on the return of Russian tourists from abroad continue.
“We are confident that this measure will contribute to the preservation of the health of Russian citizens and will allow thousands of tourists to avoid forced quarantine measures upon returning to their homeland,” the AZUR Air statement said.
The company asked passengers to treat the measures taken with understanding and promised to keep their staff during a forced pause.
On Friday, the cancellation from March 22 to April 20 of all imported flights from Russia abroad announced ANEX Tour.
