Dr. Issam Al-Roubi, one of the scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, said that the Corona virus is the plague of the era that is difficult to treat and is one of the great catastrophes and great calamity that destroys people and threatens humanity with death. Whoever dies of plague or a catastrophe like this is the martyr of the deadly disease, as the corona is the plague of the deadly age and of the dangerous episodes of the era that are required to mobilize against it.
Issam Al-Roubi added that this great scourge needs international solidarity to stop its encroachment on human beings so that man will not perish because of the inability of a state to confront it alone.
Al-Roubi praised the moral, humanitarian and religious position of Egypt and a number of countries, most notably Saudi Arabia, in recovering and following their nationals medically and helping China to stop this dangerous sprawl and scourge, and this is a legitimate duty to reduce the risks and confront the disease, as abandoning this role defects those who give up.
Al-Roubi stressed the hypothesis of countries interfering in assisting endemic countries to protect those who are deprived, stressing this is a legal necessity and one of the purposes of Shari’a to protect people, regardless of their religion or gender.
Al-Roubi called for praying to God to stop this affliction and to stop this plague, which does not separate and kill anyone who afflicts it.
“We must all take preventive measures and exchange advice to preserve ourselves, our children and our relatives, so that we can live in the safety of God,” al-Roubi said.

In a related context, the Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that a separate building has been allocated inside the El-Nagila Hospital in Marsa Matrouh, to debate all arrivals from Wuhan, China, after the outbreak of the Corona epidemic and follow-up of those suffering from any chronic diseases, and provide treatment according to his health condition.
The Ministry of Health and Population added that the capacity of the number of intensive care beds in Al-Nujaila Hospital has been increased and equipped with artificial respirators and x-ray equipment, and all medical equipment and supplies to meet all medical needs of Egyptians from China.
The ministry said that the devices for the viral laboratories were installed to receive samples of any suspected cases of the virus, in addition to providing reagents for the emerging corona virus..
