Azerbaijan participated as an honored guest in the seventh wine festival organized in Solnok, Hungary.
Ambassador Tahir Taghizade gave an interview to local media representatives. IS Referring to AZERTAC, it is reported that T. Taghizadeh, who answered the questions of the press representatives, spoke about the work done in the direction of the development of agriculture and winemaking after the restoration of Azerbaijan’s independence. The ambassador drew attention to the fact that the 100th anniversary of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev was celebrated this year and talked about the historical role played by the Great Leader in the development of our country. At the same time, T. Taghizade informed the media representatives about the cooperation relations established in the field of agriculture between Azerbaijan and Hungary.
Later, T. Taghizadeh, who delivered the opening speech at the festival, spoke about the ancient winemaking traditions of Azerbaijan and the prizes awarded to Azerbaijani wines at the international level. The ambassador said that an agreement was reached on joint wine production by Savalan ASPI of Azerbaijan and Jammertal Borbirtok of Hungary in honor of friendly relations between the two countries.
After the opening, a meeting was held with local wine producers of Hungary and Azerbaijani wines were presented to them.
At the festival, Azerbaijani and Turkish youths living in Hungary performed Azerbaijani songs.
Within the framework of the festival, Azerbaijani wines, dishes of our national cuisine, and materials about our country were presented to the attention of the local community and were met with great interest by the Hungarian participants.
