CITIZEN CIRCUIT – The circus of the Formula 1 this time it stops in Baku, for the Gp dell’Azerbaijan 2022, on a 6 km long city circuit. The track, which runs counterclockwise (51 laps), includes 8 right-hand and 12 left-hand curves, with a strong alternation of slow and fast sections. The pit straight is 2.2 km long and overlooks the seafront; preceded by the last two curves, which face each other in full, promises to reach a speed of 340 km / h. Also characteristic is the stretch defined by curves 8, 9 and 10, which passes through the old city, skirting its walls: overtaking here is difficult, due to the narrow lane at 7 meters.
FERRARI VS RED BULL – Also in Baku the challenge between the Ferrari and the Red Bull. The Prancing Horse stable, now forced to chase, is called to give a strong signal after the last dull performances, including that of Monaco. The track, also thanks to the long straight of 2,200 meters, on paper, could favor the Red Bull RB18s of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
THE TIMETABLE OF THE GP ON TV – It will be possible to watch the Grand Prix and qualifying live on Sky pay TV and on TV8. On Friday 10 June at 1 pm and 4 pm the first and second session of free tests, visible on Sky. Saturday 11 June le qualifications for the starting grid they are scheduled live at 4 pm on Sky and at 6.30 pm on TV8.
