A gala concert was held in Iskander Bey Square, the center of Tirana, accompanied by the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra named after Gara Garayev. SIA informs that at the gala concert, under the artistic direction of People’s Artist Fakhreddin Karimov, the Chamber Orchestra presented to the audience the compositions of genius composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Fikret Amirov, Rauf Hajiyev, Vasif Adigozelov, Tofig Guliyev, Jahangir Jahangirov, Emin Sabitoglu and other prominent artists.
People’s artists of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fidan Hajiyeva, Azer Zeynalov, Honored artists Ramil Gasimov, Inara Babayeva, Elvin Ganiyev, as well as Sadaf Budagova and Ibrahim Babayev took part on the stage.
In addition to the exhibition and gala concert at the opening of the Azerbaijan week, the State Tourism Agency and the National Culinary Center of Azerbaijan presented samples of our country’s national cuisine, wreaths from our national sweets and various promotional materials.
The first day of the Azerbaijan culture week was met with great interest by the guests.
