The sun will not have been enough to illuminate its passage in Brittany… Scheduled this Friday, Aya Nakamura was far from having the niaque. Much awaited by the youngest festival-goers, the singer from 93 delivered a tasteless performance, which even her hits “Djadja” and “Girlfriends” were unable to catch up.

Scenic means… but little atmosphere
On stage, however, the resources were there: musicians, singers, dancers… But the artist was simply elsewhere. Like in a hurry to send her concert to Carhaix. In the crowd, if the public willingly took up the words in chorus to the sound of “Chocolat” or “Doudou”, the atmosphere was not there either. No dance steps, no contagious fever: for the most part, we remained static.

Aya Nakamura, a machine too well oiled
By linking the music in a mechanical way, with almost no interaction with the public, the interpreter of “Pookie” completely missed the mark of a performance that could have been a landmark. No hitch, of course, but no asperities either, those which make the salt of a memorable concert. In short, like an impression of minimum service… Sorry Aya, but we found that “you haven’t died of that”.
