The famous French singer of Malian origin, Aya Nakamura, is entering a little more into the history of France.
In fact, the singer became the very first French woman to have her own Bratz doll.
Since Wednesday, September 11, Aya Nakamura has held the title of the first French woman to have her own doll from the famous American brand, Bratz.
Legendary American toy brand Bratz recently unveiled its brand new collection on social media.
Aya Nakamura, recent music award winner and headliner of the Paris 2022 Olympics opening ceremony, has been given her very own Bratz doll.
In fact, a doll in the image of the singer of “Djadja” and many other big titles from the last decade are featured in the new collection from the American brand.
This is the very first French personality to benefit from this honor from the brand.
Before them, American singers like Lady Gaga, Kylie Jenner, Lana Del Rey, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Ice Spice and Sabrina Carpenter had theirs.
The American firm took inspiration for the design of Aya Nakamura’s doll from the French singer’s appearance on the red carpet of the Met Gala in May 2024 in New York.
As a reminder, the artist walked the red carpet wearing a sheath dress by the famous designer, Balmain, decorated with flowers and with a wide slit, and her hair was styled in a platinum blonde bun.
This honor is a sign of the French singer’s global impact. Note that Aya Nakamura is the most listened to female artist in France in 2023.
