Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose denies the sexual abuse allegations. A former one Penthousemodel sued the singer and says she was abused by him in 1989, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
According to 61-year-old Rose, nothing ever happened. “Simply put, this never happened,” his attorney Alan Gutman countered on Wednesday TMZ. He finds it striking that the possible victim filed her complaint a day before the alleged offense was to have expired.
Counsel further states that Rose cannot remember ever meeting or speaking to the woman. The singer has also not heard of “these fictitious accusations” before. He therefore approaches the matter with confidence.
Sheila Kennedy, now 61, says Rose abused her “like a caveman.” She previously accused him of abuse, but did not yet go to court.
The incident happened after Kennedy bumped into Rose at a club in New York and took her to a private party in his hotel room. There he eventually tied her up without consent and had anal sex with her.
Kennedy says that she was left traumatized afterwards and had anxiety and depression for years. She also says that her love life is suffering. The model is demanding damages.
