BVB: Witsel and Can against Schalke probably questionable

Borussia Dortmund may have to do without Axel Witsel and Emre Can in the district derby against FC Schalke 04 next Saturday (3.30 p.m.). As the picture reported, the 31-year-old Belgian injured himself on Tuesday without any opposing influence on the adductors. Since then he has been absent from training. On Wednesday, it should also have caught the 26-year-old Can. Both were suspected of torn fibers. It remains to be seen whether they will be fit in time for the derby.

Should there be failures, Thomas Delaney would be available as a replacement candidate. The 28-year-old Dane has been injured since November, but regained the necessary match fitness during the corona break. The last struck Jadon Sancho and Achraf Hakimi should be ready for the derby.
